Landro's Gift Redemtion Error

Hi there,

I bought 10 packets of the new Wrathgate deck today and within such i recieved a "Landro's Gift".

I got home from work and went to the redemtion site as instructed and enterered my region, server, code and security.

The page then refreshed with the message under the code entering section 'Game Code Not Found'. I hadn't scratched the card until i got home and i'm the only one to see the card. I've check that i've entered the code correctly on a number of attempts, but always the same issue.

Any suggestions / help?

Hello,

The "Game Code Not Found" error occurs most often, when a code is entered incorrectly.

First double check that you're entering all of the numbers correctly, and that everything is scratched completely (so you aren't confusing 8's with 6's and 3's).

After that, make sure all of the boxes on the redemption page are being filled correctly. Some browsers will move you ahead to the next box automatically, even though the previous box still have room for numbers.

You should have 4 digits in the first box, 6 digits in the second box, 5 digits in the third box, 6 digits in the fourth box and 4 digits in the last box. You should NOT have any left over digits at the end that don't fit on this page.

For example: XXXX-XXXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXXX-XXXX

Also, if you enter the Security Input in incorrectly, you may get this error as well. Please make sure you refresh the page correctly, and don't just hit 'back' on your browser if you get an error. Hitting back will display the previous, but unusable Security Input code.

Ok, I'm trying to get a Sandbox Tiger to work, and I've used both the old website AND the new one. And I tried ANOTHER Sandbox Tiger code just to check it out, and I'm also getting Game Code Not Found.

And trust me, I'm typing the code in correctly (many times).

Is it possible we have a bug?

Check and checked again, still not working.

I have recieved items in the past, this is my first time with a problem though.

It appears that a number of Blizzard's pages are currently down since this week's Tuesday maintenance.

It appears this is affecting the Loot card redemption page. Our team is working with Blizzard to try to get some movement on this.

just had the same issue with two cards.. what gives? Are we screwed out of our money or what? If so, what is being done about it?

Yes, that's exactly it. Blizzard and Cryptozoic are conspiring together to steal your loot cards.

Or, you could read Roshen's post, just two posts above yours, where he tells us that Blizzard is having problems with their web page and it should be working again soon.

Well, no redemptions will be working right now, it's a maintenance problem. What's being done about it is just blizzard finishing patching. They just probably had more server traffic than they expected, which caused parts of their site to become inactive. I'd just try again tomorrow, after patching finishes, and everything should be okay again. If it still doesn't work, I'd try to send blizz an e-mail, I'm sure they can clear everything up.

I am having this issue as well with the blazing hyppogryph along with many others, kinda concerned as the card is worth money and i am not sure if there is something wrong with the code or maintenance or what. There are multiple threads on the wow forums in the TCG , Customer service and general discusion forums, An MVP has posted, but no blues yet. can anyone here cryptozoic or anyone who has spoke to customer support chime in and or find out. As the cards have value, it is slightly troubling. mainly because the patch and everything seems to be going fine now. again thanks.

With the multitude of issues that patch brought on yesterday, I will be very surprised if this is addressed this week.

They just started patching yesterday, I'd try again later in the afternoon, but I'm sure blizz is flooded with stuff right now, so I'm not sure if you'd even get a decent reply before the issue is resolved. If anything comes up, I'm sure it'll be posted.

thanks so much, yeah just trying to put the feelers out there on this. usually when you ask most people go "yeah dont put the code on the card directly on the landro guy in game" and i am always like yeah i know i am going to the promotional website lol, so 9 times out of 10 on the forums people think its a user input error but this was doubly checked by me and i have redeemed cards before so , hopefully its just a database error or something.

yeah I'm not too worried right now, it's a pain but I'd rather have a stable game right now.

Ok... i just got off the phone with the very helpful blizzard customer service rep. He was able to determine that my loot code was valid, even though the website said it didnt exist. he said that he couldnt manually do it on his end either. SO, he said that he was going to take it to the development team to have the code applied to my account manually. He then said he would email or call me in about an hour with an update.

Ok so that is my situation in regards to this problem, i will update more when i am updated myself. hope this helps some of you..

Yeah i tried today and nothing, but i'm happy to try again on Friday, if nothing then i'll poke a GM or customer support there to see whats what

I hope someone official at least admits there is an issue soon... keep an eye on the blizzard customer service forum... there is beginning to be a lot of angry people, and as long as the problem isn't at least acknowledged their anger is going to continue to get worse, especially the ones who just ebayed a spectral tiger mount...

I'm gonna go watch The Onion news for a while...

True... true. I guess for some reason I thought support would be different, but it's probably not.
